Wenge Wood "Dragon Pillar" Steel Prying Tool for Pu-erh Tea

Incredible ornate carved screw-apart pick made from stained Wenge Wood.  The pick is machine carved, but the Dragon Pole (龙珠) motif is exquisite.

The pick is made using the san-mai forging process, which gives both incredible strength and that classic damascene folded pattern. This process has been re-invented in modern times as the original process was lost to the ages.  Pattern-welded steel using the san-mai process is the closest there is to the original lost art, and is both strong and aesthetically beautiful.

This makes for an elegant addition to any gong fu setup and will be a faithful companion to your pu-erh collection for as long as you desire!

"The design on the wooden handle is finely detailed and Damascus steel look of the blade is cool. Very sturdy and well made. I got this as the free gift included with a recent order and like it a lot more than I thought I would"

Say Goodbye to Flimsy Pu'er Knives: Discover the Ultimate Tool Every Tea Lover Needs!

"I've been through quite a few Pu'er knives/pick's over the years, but this one stands out as the best by far. Unlike some of the other "high quality" knives I've bought in the past that seemed to fall apart after a few uses, this one is a true gem. It’s sturdy and reliable, exactly what you need for tackling those tough Pu'er cakes. The value for the money is incredible. I've seen lesser quality knives go for much higher prices, so finding this one felt like hitting the jackpot. The design is also top-notch. It's sleek, elegant, and looks great in my tea setup. The reason I decided to purchase this knife is that my trusty old companion of nearly 20 years was finally starting to show her age. We’ve been through thick and thin together—everything from nasty, fishy improperly aged Pu'er (or as I like to call it, Pooooo Er) cakes to the most exquisite, perfectly aged cakes from the '70s, '80s, '90s, and into the 2020s. But alas, the pick was beginning to separate from the wood, and it was time for her to retire to the sock drawer with some old tea pets and mismatched socks. If you’re in the market for a Pu'er knife that combines quality, value, and style, look no further. This one will not disappoint!"

"Smaller than I thought it would be but it's really handy and a really nice knife"

This tea pick worked very

"This tea pick worked very well for breaking down a tea cake without actually damaging the leaves, would recommend this anytime. definitely pick this up with the free coupon if you buy enough tea to quality for it. it's got a thin blade, with no sharp edges on the side, so it's safe to use, generally. will work best if you get a small box to use for opening the tea cake, which i'm sure you can find on the site as well."

Joshua C. (5/5)

"Feels nice in hand and build quality is good , and the Chinese Damascus is nice but I can’t tell if it’s real Damascus or really well etched ."
