This is the cleanest and smoothest Liu Bao I have ever tasted. The storage condition has given it an aged aroma and complex taste and mouth-feel but without imparting any musty storage notes that are so commonly found in Liu Bao. If you are looking for an ultra clean aged Liu Bao with tons of complexity then this is is the one!
It's hard to describe the character of this tea in terms of flavors. It has a bit of betel nut character to it, but mostly it is creamy and fruity with a sweet mineral core to it.
This Liu Bao is a small commissioned production grown and harvested in Wuzhou Guangxi in 2002. It was commissioned and then aged by a professor of Tea Agriculture who's now retired and is selling off his collection.
