here's absolutely no astringency in this tea if you actually know how to brew it, which apparently is not a prerequisite when buying tea. Folks, don't let that one review sway your decision. The fact that the tea has the word "fruity" in the name or description does not indicate that you're getting a bottle of Peach Snapple. To be perfectly honest, I'm not sure why so many people get into tea and want sweet or fruity flavors, and then they're disappointed when the tea doesn't taste like something you can buy at a gas station to wash down a bag of Doritos. What I am sure about, however, is that this tea hits all the right notes for a black tea. It's refreshing and it has enough maltiness to satisfy that malt craving I can only find in black teas. And yes, it's also sweet-ish (not to be confused with Swedish) and fruity, but again, if you're looking for Snapple or Arizona, perhaps skip this one and head over to your local convenience store and get what you're actually looking for. This is a really lovely black tea. So lovely and smooth it can easily be an everyday cup of tea. There is a light natural sweetness to it which melds well with the freshness and brightness of this tea. There isn’t any astringency even after several steeps.

I was very pleased with this tea. Always great value for money.

Good value and taste. Sweet and fruity with the classic black tea taste underneath.

The initial smell is very sweet and fruity before brewing, but after brewed it was levels out. It's a nice smooth black tea if not a little mild.
