This is a lovely white tea made from spring 2019 Camellia Taliensis tea leaves harvested in Yang Ta village in Jinggu county of Simao.

First flush of spring tea leaves for picked and then allowed to dry in the shade naturally curing over several days.  The tea was then stored in loose leaf form until May 2020 when it was pressed into cakes!

A lovely sweet and thick white tea that has honey and fruit character, and is easy-going and very enjoyable to drink!

Dark and robust

"This one brews pretty dark for a white tea, almost like a black tea. The flavor is also surprisingly bold, slightly malty, fruity, and floral with a hint of earthiness. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the cake is hard as a rock which I assume is due to how it was pressed, so it's difficult to break off a piece even with a pick. But the end result is worth the effort."

Tastes very mellow and gentle.

"The body tastes very soft and mellow in a unique way and the smell is a genuinely divine earth-like smell that outdoes any other tea I've ever had. Overall a very enjoyable tea When iced the flavor becomes even gentler."

Good as always

"Teas were lovely. I’ll be honest, I’m used to getting at least one little sample of something new to try added into my order, so I was a little sad there wasn’t one. But that was very minor. The ones I picked are great."

there’s nothing wrong with it

"there’s nothing wrong with it but it just tastes like aged white tea. there is no nuance or tasting notes or depth."

This tea is so good!

"Excellent aged white tea with black tea character! Sweet and thick with depth of honey, caramel and fruit flavor reminiscent of Dian Hong. Lots of steeps and very nice comforting cha qi. Love it!"
