Great daily driver

This has been my daily drinker for the past 2 weeks or so. No regrets. It doesn't offer a very complicated taste profile with 25 different notes, but stands up to high temperature without losing floral notes or getting over-bitter. te and faint honeysuckle, cardamom, jasmine on the back. Nice sweet after taste which is very noticeable in steep 2-4.

This has nothing to do with the quality, but my tea leaves look a bit different from the picture so much that I had to double-check my order. This never happens with YS so I had to make sure. Mine had fewer golden leaves than the pictures (mine is mostly black leaves) but it seems like having more or less golden leaves in itself doesn't mean anything. Just a surprise for me.

Overall it is a great budget option and I might circle back to this in the future after trying a few different options. Read Less

Nice Huigan

Really great puer for the price. Mellow and smooth, not bitter. Has this sort of huigan that tickles the back of your tongue with sweetness in a chalky kind of way, not sure how to put it into words but it's a very prominent effect that this tea has. Could be a bit more flavorful overall but for the price it's acceptable.
