I enjoy it. It's got a nice herbal quality that is different than a green or white tea. I prefer earthier teas for my daily drinker but may come back to this one for variety. I was concerned that it might be too high energy but it's pretty focused and calm, not that buzzy at all.On 2020 Yunnan Sourcing "Tian Tang Cao" Ripe Pu-erh Tea and JiaogulanMMichael M.Verified Buyer5.0 star rating03/19/25Delicious!Review by Michael M. on 19 Mar 2025 review stating Delicious!I always love the samplers. I picked up a sample looking to spend a couple more dollars and get away from “same-y” ripe. I finished it with a new interest in Bu Lang productions. Working on a cake now.
Creamy, bittersweet, and lasts for quite a few steeps. Drinking the strongest pours is like a cup of melted chocolate. No woodiness. A little cooling even through the later, thinner steeps. The one drawback is the cake is pressed so tightly that it’s almost fused, but some determination gets a good chunk into your gaiwan/teapot. All in all a really nice tea, especially if you’re looking for something that does a great job representing/amping up the thick and bittersweet aspects of shou with great longevity. On 2022 Yunnan Sourcing "Ban Pen Village" Bu Lang Ripe Pu-erh Tea CakeOriginal price $48.50 - Original price $48.50Original price$48.50$48.50 - $48.50Current price $48.50| /In stockA production of 100% Bu Lang Mountain material from Spring 2007.
