Raw Pu-erh Tea

This is a great daily drinker from Menghai. I really like the calming nature of this tea. It is very warming as well. The tea is nice and clear, there isn't any dust at all in the tea soup. There is no wet-pile taste remaining after 9 years of aging. This ripe is a great choice!

Unbelievable quality for the amount of samples that you receive and for the overall price!! I am in love with the silver needles and “hairy crab” oolong. Those are my favorites amongst the bunch, though I do still have to try both pu-erh samples and the green tea.

I was very surprised by the “hairy crab” oolong because the leaves were so fragrant and floral, like sniffing a Lily of the Valley. The taste was subtle but pleasing… I can’t wait to also try the “hairy crab king” version.

Great quality strainer for the price. The dual layer mesh is able to catch all the little tea leaves that occassionally escape my gaiwan. Very easy to clean as well. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

I bought this 4 years ago for much cheaper than it sells for now. Still probably worth the value it's the type of ripe I could drink everyday and much prefer it to most other DaYi ripes including the v93. Scott or Xiao Yao if you're reading this list a newer pressing and I'll buy a tin or two for ageing.

A nice cake not to over pressed. It comes apart easily with nice large leaves. It has a nice sweet flavor that’s not too overpowering.
