I rarely find Dancong that smells or tastes like the cultivar's name, but I definitely get some sweet potato from this. It is quite fragrant, and unlike a lot of Dancong it leans more herbal/fruity/sweet to me, rather than floral. I get the sweetness of root vegetables without the earthiness.
