I'm giving this a 5 star because the description is accurate and a great value but personally it's closer to a 4. It has a noticable pleasant Qi with mellow tobacco sweetness. Smells and tastes of an antique armoire, woody earthy kind of sweet. Warms the belly and circulates the inner energy. I got about 15 good steeps before I had to tap out, probably could have gotten 3 more before it dropped off.

I enjoyed this one so much that I purchased an entire cake! This 2005 production is definitely slightly better than the 2006. The price for this tea is fantastic. It's not a particularly special, interesting, or high-quality tea, but it offers tons of pleasant smoke, aged, and fruity flavor that makes it very much worth it.

It's always exciting to try any puerh from before 2003-2005. This one is super smooth and very pleasant, with tons of aged characteristics. Of course since it is smaller leaf grade, don't expect an extremely long lasting tea. Definitely worth trying out!
