I find it gently savory, slightly malted, copacetically creamy and correctly minerally like a light roast coffee without a trace of bitterness or astringency. The cha qi here is very light and subtle but it is present. Just don't expect to run hurdles but it will aid concentration. I find 6 grams per 100 ml at 205 F is just right for me with my hard alkaline water. For the life of me, i can't oversteep this tea and I've been trying. 10 seconds or 10 minutes, it comes out consistently good every time. So far it seems to infuse forever so I bet grandpa style is perfect for this pu-erh.On 2010 Jinggu Lao Cha Tou Ripe Pu-erh TeaJJoseph S.Verified Buyer5.0 star rating04/14/25Good deviceReview by Joseph S. on 14 Apr 2025 review stating Good deviceThis is great. I now make tea more frequently because of how easy to use this is. The glass is thin and seem somewhat fragile, but if it breaks I would buy it again. On Bonston BP-13 Automatic Tea BrewerNNathan T.Verified Buyer5.0 star rating04/14/25Honey Sweet, Juicy TeaReview by Nathan T. on 14 Apr 2025 review stating Honey Sweet, Juicy TeaJuicy, honey, delicious, all words that immediately came to mind upon tasting this tea for the first time. It's so weighty in the hand, a solid piece. This allows it to properly retain heat once you've done your washes. I bought two and would recommend them to any tea drinker. On Archaic Ruyi Chalice Wood-Fired Kiln Clay Tea CupVVictoria K.Verified Buyer5.0 star rating04/14/25Lovely selection, really like theReview by Victoria K. on 14 Apr 2025 review stating Lovely selection, really like theLovely selection, really like the red and shous in particular. On Customer Favorites Tea SamplerOriginal price $18.00 - Original price $140.00Original price$18.00 - $140.00$18.00 - $140.00Current price $18.00| /In stockSmall artisan produced Wild Liu Bao grown in a remote part of Wuzhou County in Guangxi Province.
