hat had a thick & lubricating mouthfeel like the description said it would. Best I can discribe this tea is its like a manly cologne or scotch whiskey. My stepdad thought it smelled like old southern men making hickory smoked BBQ & my oldest stepbrother more amusingly thought it smelled like a bug of some kind. I've since used my silver plated coffee pot to brew this tea & that came out even better than it did when brewed it in the beer stein.
This tea is very beginner friendly in that the flavors are strong enough to be unlocked with minimal effort.
I've since tasted other teas sold under the hei cha category & this tea seems to be an outlier, it doesn't have the yeasty/bready or sour/sharp notes I tasted in those other hei chas.
