The astringency is low for a floral which I like. There is a vegetal presence with the floral which I have decided is "jasmine asparagus" which is quite unique. There is a nice finish which I decided is "creamy green" and possibly that asparagus again. After many steeps, the leaves turn to a woody aroma, but the tea tastes the same. I find the layers complex and intriguing and it is a good tea to relax to while contemplating the aroma, taste, finish, and observing the beautiful rolled leaves changing into full beautiful green leaves. On Premium AA Tie Guan Yin of Anxi Oolong Tea of FujianDDorothy B.Verified Buyer5.0 star rating05/06/25Unique and delicious DancongReview by Dorothy B. on 6 May 2025 review stating Unique and delicious DancongI rarely find Dancong that smells or tastes like the cultivar's name, but I definitely get some sweet potato from this. It is quite fragrant, and unlike a lot of Dancong it leans more herbal/fruity/sweet to me, rather than floral. I get the sweetness of root vegetables without the earthiness. Later steeps bring out a bit of a melon note to me. It's a pretty unique Dancong and I like it quite a bit.On Middle Mountain "Sweet Potato Aroma" Dan Cong Oolong TeaJJustin G.Verified Buyer5.0 star rating05/06/25Fantastic green tea!Review by Justin G. on 6 May 2025 review stating Fantastic green tea!Delicious and light flavor.
