Four Seasons Spring oolong is a natural hybrid semi-wild cultivar whose name comes from its continual, and exuberant flushing of ready to pluck leaves. This specimen was originated from the famous Tie Guan Yin region in Taiwan - Muzha, and was discovered accidentally by the local farmer one day. It soon became one of the most popular tea specimen in Taiwan due to its exuberant vitality. This is another of our "three sisters" from Taiwan, and our fresh Four Seasons oolong is vibrant, tangy sweet and almost sour in the mouth. A light and bright tea that is refreshing to drink.

We are proud to offer this classic Taiwanese hand crafted oolong along with her other two sisters as part of our new line of Taiwanese teas. Enjoy!

Summer time...gaiwan style...I found this tea to be thick with a nice almost spicy sweetness.  It evolved into a smooth and invitingly tangy experience.

This lovely organic Si Ji Chun is too cheap to be true. Not only is it affordable but it is also quite surprisingly tasty at this price range thanks to the heavier oxidation level. A great tea for knowing what Si Ji Chun taste like.

Thick and sweet Jade Oolong with body... Drank this blind and was shocked when I saw the price.  Masterfully crafted organic oolong!

Mellow all around...The wet leaf aroma had an Indian spiced rice notes that I enjoyed.  The flavors were simple and consistent, and I found some great fruitiness in the 4th and 5th infusions.

As an old dog who has been drinking Dong Ding like crazy, this is not the Dong Ding, but it has some similar element in it. The oxidation and the roast is very similar to the traditional Dong Ding, which makes it a great replacement  when the wallet is thin.
