A small production from a family producer in Yi Wu town. This has been aged for 10 years in tropical Jinghong town of Xishuangbanna Prefecture (Yunnan). The tea cake is produced entirely from Spring 2005 harvested Yi Wu area tea and then stone-pressed in the traditional way.
The storage condition has given this tea a red tea soup and sweet camphor and mushroom taste and feel. The tea is still characteristically Yi Wu. Smooth with a robust cha qi this is a perfect cake for those seeking something aged with complexity while still retaining the needed character/quality for further aging and improvement.
